Moving to a new country with its own unique culture can be challenging, especially when its habits, customs, and traditions feel unfamiliar. You might even experience a bit of culture shock as you adapt to a completely different way of life. While we often focus on the practical and social aspects of settling in, we tend to overlook the cultural adjustments that come with it.
To help with this transition, Come2Upper Austria offers “Intercultural Trainings” for all international talents living in Upper Austria. These sessions provide an opportunity to understand and reflect on both your own culture and Austrian culture. The training will help you grasp the differences and potential areas of conflict, while also offering strategies for resolving these conflicts and embracing cultural differences. You’ll gain insights into Austrian values and behaviors, making it easier to communicate and collaborate with your colleagues. The goal is to enhance your communication skills and personal effectiveness while reducing anxieties around intercultural interactions.
All seminars will be conducted in English. The sessions include presentations, practical examples, case studies, group work, discussions, self-assessments, and exchanges with the international community and other participants.
