“FACC is a partner of this great initiative from the very beginning. With our 50 nations on board, we are highly appreciating the services of Welcome 2 Upper Austria with which we are able to offer our internationals a comprehensive onboarding focusing not only on company related topics but also covering daily life activities and Austrian specific customs, focusing not only on the “working” internationals but also on the accompanying family members. We at FACC really enjoy cooperating with this highly professional service center and benefit from the dedicated support of Maria Dietz.”

“Moving to another country is always tough and a stressful experience at the beginning. Hundreds of bureaucracies to take care and think about. Maria helped us since we were in Brazil, from work permit issuance, to finding anapartment. She supported us on every single issue. My son was born in Austria, so she was there again helping us with doctors, hospital, birth certificates, simply everything. I’m very thankful to Maria and all the team for the support they gave and still give to us. 😊”

“Especially for an international company like KTM AG, it is important to recruit employees from all over the world. For us as the largest motorcycle manufacturer in Europe, it is a matter of course to employ people of all nationalities – especially here at our main location in Innviertel. The Initiative Lebensraum Innviertel makes a major contribution to ensuring that employees from all over the world can feel at home here in the region and find a new home.”

“We contacted Maria, when I got the job in Upper Austria. She helped us to find our first accommodation, which would be very difficult without her. She supported us in doing all the paperwork after our arrival. We understood the Austrian health insurance and taxation systems very good thanks to two detailed presentations, Maria invited us to. When our daughter was born, she explained us all the necessary procedures very carefully. She came to our city to discuss our questions each time and she was always very nice to us. We are very thankful, for what she did and is still doing for us.”

“I was introduced to Ms. Maria Dietz by my company a few months after I joined Frauscher. Moving to Austria from Germany where I was doing my masters was not easy, but the help provided to me in the initial months after the move was crucial, especially the seminars conducted for internationals. It’s been almost a decade since I moved to Austria; I’ve moved since then to Linz, but I always seek Maria’s help when I need to navigate bureaucracy, which can be a lot to even the locals! Since I’ve met her, I’ve participated in many trips that she organised for us internationals. My very first friendships in Austria were made during those trips. I look back on them with fondness. During the pandemic, when I was not allowed to visit my family back in India, I started a regular correspondence with her, and she helped me a lot during those trying times. Right now, the ‘Deutsch Abend’ initiative, is something that I love! It gives many of us a chance to learn German, since learning it at work usually is not that simple. The Come2Upper Austria initiative has been a positive presence in my journey here in Austria and I always recommend it to fellow internationals.”
